Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), established in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College, became a Technological University in 1972. Located in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, JNTUH has grown into one of India’s leading institutions for engineering, technology, science, pharmacy, management, and research.
In 1995, JNTUH attained affiliating university status, expanding its academic reach across the region. Following the restructuring of JNTU in 2008, it became Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), serving as the affiliating university for Telangana State.
Recognized for its academic excellence, JNTUH has received NAAC accreditation with an ‘A+’ Grade in 2024, achieving a CGPA of 3.32. Today, the university comprises 8 constituent colleges, 16 directorates, and 6 Centres of Excellence, providing quality education, research opportunities, and technological innovation across diverse disciplines.
