Description
In this course, learners will develop a comprehensive and practical understanding of ethical hacking and penetration testing – from foundational concepts and legal frameworks to advanced exploitation techniques and professional reporting. Learners will explore the full ethical hacking lifecycle including reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, and vulnerability analysis, before progressing to system hacking, malware threats, sniffing, and authentication attacks. They will conduct network-level attacks including social engineering, denial of service, session hijacking, and evasion of IDS and firewalls, and apply techniques for establishing persistence, lateral movement, and data exfiltration. Learners will also attack and assess web applications, wireless networks, mobile platforms, and IoT and OT systems, and examine cloud security and cryptography from an offensive perspective. The course concludes with a thorough grounding in penetration testing methodology, governance, risk and compliance, and professional communication and remediation reporting.
