Description

In this course, learners will develop a practical and well-rounded understanding of generative AI – from working with leading AI tools to engineering effective prompts and building AI-assisted development workflows. Learners will explore ChatGPT’s capabilities, use cases, and industry impact, and learn to fine-tune prompts and automate content generation using GPT-4. They will examine Google’s Gemini platform across everyday and technical applications, and develop structured prompt engineering skills through a progression of techniques and patterns applied in hands-on lab exercises. Learners will also apply generative AI to software development workflows, including vibe coding, debugging, unit testing, pair programming, and code optimisation. The course concludes with a focused exploration of responsible AI use, covering ethical considerations, privacy, and intellectual property.
