Leadership and DEI

31 hours 52 minutes

Credits: Optional Learning

Description

In this course, learners will develop a deep and actionable understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion – from building a personal inclusion mindset through to leading systemic cultural change across organisations. Learners will explore the foundations of DEI including unconscious bias, micro-behaviours, allyship, values-based approaches, and emotionally intelligent leadership, and examine how to hire for diversity and champion inclusion at every level. They will develop the leadership skills needed to activate DEI culture shifts, embed inclusion into everyday experiences, lead inclusive meetings, bridge cross-cultural differences, and engage multigenerational and diverse workforces. Learners will examine DEI across the full employee lifecycle and explore psychological safety, women in leadership, LGBTQ+ etiquette, and unified and relational leadership through an extensive Leadercamp series. The course concludes with a critical examination of systemic bias in data, systemic barriers in organisational culture, allyship in practice, global perspectives on race and equity across multiple regions, and the evolution of the Black corporate experience.
